Our roots lie in service to country, to mission, and now to the patients and providers at the heart of modern healthcare systems.

Founder – Brendan Stutz

Brendan Stutz is the founder and Managing Director of SCM Professionals. Brendan, a retired U.S. Army logistics officer, spent 20 years leading global operations, coordinating complex supply chains, and building high-performing teams under pressure. After completing multiple overseas deployments—including two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan—he transitioned from military service to healthcare, bringing a mindset of discipline, agility, and service.

His consulting career has included engagements with some of the nation’s most respected healthcare institutions, including Stanford Health Care, Oregon Health & Science University, and UCHealth. Across every project, he brings a calm, collaborative presence and a relentless focus on results.

Beyond his client work, Brendan remains deeply committed to supporting veterans and transitioning service members. He actively mentors those navigating career changes, shares guidance on federal contracting and entrepreneurship, and advocates for veteran inclusion in healthcare and supply chain leadership.

His leadership philosophy centers on three principles: leave the foxhole better than you found it, lead with clarity and compassion, and empower others to thrive. These values guide not only his work, but also the culture of SCM Professionals.
